Is-sinjal għal ORS ABJAD għandu żewg partijiet. (jew i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal ORS: iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 kkurvat ma’ l-għoli ta’ l-ispalla u jintefgħu ‘l quddiem. Id-dirgħajn ikunu kważi vertikali u l-pala ta’ kull id tħares ‘il barra. (jew ii) It-tieni parti hija s-sinjal għal ABJAD, jiġifieri, l-id tieħu l-forma ta’ 1, il-werrej imiss il-ġenb ta’ l-għonq u jibqa’ nieżel f’linja djagonali sal-qiegħ ta’ l-għonq taħt il-geddum.

Is-sinjal għal TARBIJA jew is-sinjal għal ŻGĦIR jiġi wara s-sinjal ta’ ORS ABJAD biex jirreferi għall-ferħ. The sign for WHITE BEAR is made up of two parts. (jew i) The first part is the sign for BEAR, that is, with both hands in the shape of a curved 5 at shoulder level but extending forward with the arms in almost vertical position and with palms facing outwards. (jew ii) The second part is the sign for WHITE, that is, with the hands in the shape of 1 with the index touching the side of the neck and moving diagonally down to the bottom of the neck under the chin.

The signs for BABY or for SMALL are used after the sign for WHITE BEAR to refer to a cub. To refer to a small or large bear, the sign for SMALL or the sign for BIG are made with two hands in the shape of Ċ, palms facing each other, after the sign for WHITE BEAR. The distance between the hands indicates the relative size of the polar bear.

The sign for MANY is used after the sign for WHITE BEAR to express the plural. A classifier is often used. In this case one or both hands in the shape of curved V are placed at various points in the signing space as though several polar bears were actually being put into that space.

When the noun WHITE BEAR is the subject of a verb of movement the hand in the shape of curved V or of curved 5 is used as the classifier, moving according to the action indicated by the verb.
